BEFORE I ever PHOTOGRAPHED MOTHERHOOD, I learned to HOLD SPACE for it.
behind the lensFor years before I stepped behind the camera, I worked alongside mothers as a birth doula — witnessing some of life’s most tender, fleeting, and transformative moments. It taught me to pay attention to the small things: connection, movement, touch, and all the beauty that exists in the in-between.
Motherhood only deepened that instinct. I know how quickly these seasons change — the tiny hands, the wild toddler years, the way your babies fit into your arms right now. Photography became my way of holding onto a little bit of it.
My work is warm, nostalgic, honest, and rooted in connection. I’m less interested in perfect poses and more interested in what’s real — the way your family loves, plays, moves, and belongs together. My hope is that years from now, your photographs won’t just show you what this season looked like. They’ll remind you exactly how it felt.
